Freshmen Details
Nationality
  • International students whose parents are both foreigners.
  • It will also be recognized that both parents and applicants acquire foreign nationality before the applicant begins the curriculum corresponding to the Korean high school course. (No multiple nationalities allowed)
  • A high school graduate or prospective graduate who has completed all the curricula corresponding to the high school curriculum in Korea.
  • Qualification Examinations, homeschooling, and cyber learning are not recognized as qualifications for a special screening for international students.
Language Proficiency
  • Applicants must meet at least one of the following language proficiency criteria or be scheduled to meet them
    (1) TOEFL 530 (CBT 197, iBT 71), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600(NEW TEPS 326) or higher.
    (2) Students who hold nationality from a country where English is the native or official language do not need to submit a language proficiency test, provided they submit proof of completion of secondary or higher education (e.g., graduation certificate).
Academic Background
  • Applicants must be high school graduates (or expected graduates) who have completed an education program equivalent to the Korean high school curriculum.
  • Graduates from alternative education systems, such as GED (General Educational Development) tests, homeschooling, or cyber learning, are not recognized.
